Jill K. Alcott

A veteran fundraising, non-profit marketing and special events professional, Jill K. Alcott, CEO of Alcott & Partners, Inc., has has spent her entire career as a development professional. Her development and fundraising experience combines both institutional and independent work in the not-for-profit and corporate arenas.   Prior to opening her business, she worked at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) as manager of special events and major gifts as well as manager of corporate development.   Some of the highlights of her tenure at WCS were overseeing a myriad of benefits and special events surrounding the Re-Opening of the Central Park Zoo, starting the Corporate Entertainment Program and initiating the Society's Junior Committee.

Jill opened Alcott & Partners, Inc. after free-lancing for a few years on such impressive projects as the Save Our Everglades campaign (where she raised 3M in three months), the Gay Men's Health Crisis and an event marketing campaign for Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs.   Alcott & Partners, Inc. (API) is a consultant company that specializes in developing customized, goal-oriented fundraising campaigns and events for local, national and international non-profit organizations and corporations.   API's services include a full range of major gift and event fundraising.   Through partnerships with other specialists, her firm offers strategic planning and communications, event production and planning, and creative marketing to guide clients from the concept and preparatory phases of a campaign, event or project through completion.

API has done work for the League of Conservation voters where she increased revenues by 30 percent, the World Wildlife Fund where she spearheaded a New York based major gifts campaign that raised more than $1 million; the American Tap Dance Foundation where she helped increase gala revenues seventeen-fold over a 7 year period, helped to roll out a strategic plan and build all levels of constituent support; and, the Atlantic Salmon Federation where she spearheaded a program that tripled annual revenues over a five year period; among others.

Jill K. Alcott, a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University has also consulted on projects for the Coalition for the Homeless, with paramount Pictures, the 1998 Goodwill Games for Turner Sports, the Lois Bronz Children's Center, the Lower Eastside Service Center and the Angelica Patient's Assistance Program.
